Week 5 Student-Athlete of the Week: Woodstock’s Cooper Price

Cooper Price, a senior linebacker at Woodstock, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Price has a 4.0 GPA and is a team captain. The two-year starter is tied for the team lead in total tackles (24 solo, 23 assists) through the first five games. He has seven sacks, four tackles for losses and two fumble recoveries, with one returned for a touchdown. Price has an ACT score of 33 and has completed seven AP courses, earning scores of 4 and 5 in all of them. He has dual enrollment at Georgia Tech for Calculus 3. Price is a member of NHS and part of the leadership team for Woodstock FCA Huddle. He is involved in leadership at First Baptist Church Woodstock in the youth ministry and has served with the Tim Tebow Foundation Night to Shine event the past three years. “Cooper is the definition of hard work and perseverance,” Woodstock head coach Dan Devine said.
