Week 7 Student-Athlete of the Week: Peach County’s Bryson Hughley

Bryson Hughley, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound junior defensive back at Peach County, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Hughley has a 3.9 GPA while taking AP Honors classes. He also plays basketball and runs track. Hughley is a leader on the field, in the classroom and in his community. He takes part in a reading club that reads to the elementary school students in the Peach County School System. Hughley, who has Division I offers from Western Kentucky and Liberty University, recorded 16 tackles, three pass breakups and an interception in his first four games. He plans on majoring in cybersecurity when he enters college. “Bryson is a player who has worked hard to position himself as one of our top players in the program,” Peach County head coach Marquis Westbrook said. “He excels in the classroom and is a great teammate – everything a coach could ask for. Definitely a blessing to have him as a Trojan.”
