Flag football Division 3: Pope 19, Pace Academy 6
Abbey Bensman threw two first-half touchdown passes to lead Pope to a 19-6 victory over Pace Academy and its second consecutive state championship. Pope became the third team in two days to repeat as flag champions, joining Monday’s winners Southeast Bulloch (fourth straight) and Greenbrier (two).
Flag football Division 2: Greenbrier 18, North Oconee 0
Kenzie Horton threw two touchdown passes and the Greenbrier defense held North Oconee to 47 total yards (minus-14 rushing) Monday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the Wolfpack won a state championship for the second consecutive season.
Flag football Division 1: Southeast Bulloch 13, Columbus 6 (OT)
Southeast Bulloch tied the game with 1:13 remaining in the fourth quarter and won it 13-6 in overtime on a 10-yard run by Emma Cate Barron to capture its fourth consecutive state championship in the small-school division Monday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Quarterfinal preview: Classes 4A, 3A and 2A
The only game in any classification between undefeated teams, a game between a defending champion and a No. 1-ranked opponent, and a rematch of longtime rivals headline this weekend's quarterfinal schedule in classes 4A, 3A and 2A. Sixty-four teams remain in the GHSA playoffs, each with an eye on the state championships Dec. 16-18 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Second-round preview: Classes 4A and 3A
A couple of Class 3A rematches from the regular season will be among the high-profile games this weekend in the second round of the GHSA playoffs. Top-seeded Jefferson will try to avenge a 32-30 loss to Oconee County in the teams’ regular-season finale on Nov. 1. Sandy Creek will seek to beat LaGrange for the second time this season after winning 27-7 on Aug. 30.
