Darnell Kelly, a junior quarterback at Peachtree Ridge, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Kelly is an honor student with a 3.5 GPA. He has passed for 405 yards and three touchdowns in his first two games this season. He has offers from several schools, including Kentucky, Colorado State and UMass.

He bided his time, helping coach his new team, which his coach, Jeremy Edwards, credits with maturing him. Mitchell is now a breakout player in Georgia.
